It's really tough to look down the straight and try to remember which silver 996 has which number to figure out if a position change occurred.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Definitely ugly, but at least it's a race car......that other cab from ebay is just......wrong.

POST 3Original post

Bizarre, never seen anything like it!....but it is a dedicated track car. Definitely a wild scheme.

POST 4Original post

At least it's a race car, when they get the lettering/graphics and cotingency decals in place it will look cool at the track.

POST 5Original post

remove the spoiler and it reminds me of the German Flying circus era.

POST 6Original post

kinda looks like the floor my wife wants to do

POST 7Original post

Agree, prob cool with all the race stuff on it. But is the tow hook in the rear reduce the drag coefficient?

POST 9Original post

I kinda like it. Its so ugly its cool. Reminds of a pair of Vans.

POST 10Original post

brady bunch sponsored? as the others have said, its not nearly as bad as the cab with the rainbow paint scheme and crappy chrome rims.

POST 11Original post

Having seen the Cup races at the Indy F1, anything that distinguishes the car easily is good from the fan standpoint, and probably the sponsor. It's really tough to look down the straight and try to remember which silver 996 has which number to figure out if a position change occurred. Some will color one headlight orange to create a small difference. I think on a race car there is method to the maddness. AS

POST 12Original post

Actually it looks like it's stuck on - not painted. Otherwise this type of scheme is a liability on a race car that will require "polishing" after the friendly banter and a few kisses on the track.

POST 14Original post

Its a track car not a street car, big difference.

POST 15Original post

that would certainly mess you up if you saw it in the rear view mirror on the track... kind
