Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have a local installer I've used for years located where I work in NJ.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I had this Pioneer AVIC-Z2 installed this Thurs and I am in an extreme learning mode. There's a LOT to learn here. Paired well with my Verizon phone which is now a pleasure to use in the car.
I had a new JL Audio A6450 amp installed which makes the stock speakers sing. It is big however and takes up part of the floor of the (ha ha) trunk.
Yes but it was very minor. The head unit almost fills the space of the pld radio and the CD holder. The gap was about 1/4 inch top and sides and about 1/2 inch on the bottom.
Did you relocate the ac controls to the top lower location? If so, was this a custom trim piece? Everything I'd read indicated that the factory didn't make a ac trim piece for this location, only the lower spot.
Doug, yes it was custom and the A/C was dropped lower. I don't know where the installer bought the trim piece though.
I have since added Sirius to the system and I am extremely pleased with the unit.
I have added blue tooth, IPOD integration and Sirius to the navigation system along with adding a new amp. The Bowes speakers are very good with the new amp.
I have a local installer I've used for years located where I work in NJ. He comes to my location with a helper and does the install on site. He does mostly high end cars and does custom work for dealerships.
MikeZ, I have the same unit in my Lambo but I went with XM instead of the Sirius because the XM can offer you traffic updates on the navi.
With one look you can see how fast the freeways are flowing and choose your route accordingly (a must in L.A.)
