Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I just picked up some Red Belts... All Four are Locked.. Does anyone know how to Unlock them? I cant seem to Pull them out enough to Unlock them...

POST 2Original post

Rotate them so they are orientated correctly - they have a lever that swings with G forces to lock them - it need to be "normal" to unlock Well at least others I have worked with do - sure they are about the same - if you slam on the brakes, they lock

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i have been told by the Seller, that once they are installed they should Unlock, because of the Angle or Orientation its installed in...

POST 4Original post

I had a car that would tick me off the seatbelt was so sensitive I'd play heck trying to get slack to get my belt down low on my hip where it should be. It's good if they have a hair trigger to lock up but if you are going to push the car hard or want to make sure your belts are on right do it before rolling. Little info for your future well being. The lap seat belt should be as low as you can get it. It is better to stess or break a hip than to cause internal injuries to your guts. I worked honolulu city & county ambulance for a year in hawaii for a year and surviving an auto accident is a good idea I figure I gotta tell you just a lap belt can allow you to slide out when rolling. Play safe and happy new year. Oh yah cool belts. Thank you for silently informing us we will get to see a new seatbelts installed in your vehicle since you are posting just the belts alone. You are such a nice guy LOL. Looking forward to seeing your install man. Did I mention I like pictures more than reading.

They don't fit or work right in a lazy boy recliner. They are for a porsche I guess you could modify them though.

Zookie, help me get this straight.... were you prepping your car for a Concours car show..... or were you simply agreeing (concurring) with Ed? Since you Canadians are always adding a "U" in places it doesn't belong (like in the word "colour"), it was hard to tell.
