Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've used these for a couple years now without any issues.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So went out this morning to drive the C4S to work, didn't look right. Turned out right rear tire was flat, took the Audi to work instead.
Got home this evening and pulled the wheel and looked for a screw, nail, whatever. Instead found a nice crack in the inside lip, about 1 inch long. I remember hitting a berm pretty hard at Sears Point a couple of weekends ago, haven't driven the car since.
So, looking for advice - what to do. Buy one new or used solid turbo-twist wheel (how much are they new?) or just bite the bullet and order a new set of wheels from TireRack?
BTW - just ordered GT3 seats and harnesses from Susnset Imports last week. Damn she is an expensive mistress!
I have a couple sets of turbo-twist track wheels goign on the auction block soon. These are aftermarket wheels, but they work great for track. And if you ruin one, you don't have to sweat it. I've used these for a couple years now without any issues.
One set is 8X18 and 10X18. The other 8.5X18 and 10X18. I'll sell them cheap too. Either set for $500 plus shipping. We can negotiate on the price if shipping is going to be really expensive. Note - these aren't going to be in new condition, but will be round and good for track use.
Pics are below, but these are at the track, so I can't get newer pics. Doh!

A used factory wheel, that is.
Enough dismantelers take these apart - you should have no problem finding a factory wheel.
Do not track a tire-rack wheel - I've seen those knock-off wheels break at the track many time.
Get a used wheel from a known seller or arrange it such that you can send it back if it is not true, etc. Those solid spokes are a dime a dozen and very widely available. You 'may' end up having to buy a pair though depending on availability at this point in time.
Thanks for the advice. I've got a line a set of real turbo-twists off an '04 996TT, will look at them tomorrow. Owner is asking $600 for the set which seems reasonable if they're in good shape.
The crack looks similar to washington dc's above. I have a $500 deductible on my insurance so am not considering filing a claim.
I believe I got a new tire with the deal as well. A brand new rim is over 1K at the dealer plus the Yoko Neova was over $300.. Consider that. However $600 for two is nice.
Make sure your tire is still good.
I would sell my solids for about that I guess, but wow that's an
incredible
deal for hollows. Better jump on that. Most beat up sets are going for ~$1000 on eBay.
