Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I assume inspection found car free of any serious/major body/paint work and title check comes up clean, etc?

after posting my conundrum, take it or run, i communicated that i was declining the opportunity to buy.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

posted this earlier but have an update.
so as you might recall, i fell in love with a 2004 911 cab.
has a lot of added features including bose and navi. recent back tires.
sent it in for an inspection and Porsche dealer found ims and rms were leaking. replaced under extended warranty.
before the inspection i had agreed to pay 37K for the car as it is in ideal shape with a hard top, and all the bits. really well taken care of by the previous owner. extensive history to boot.
after posting my conundrum, take it or run, i communicated that i was declining the opportunity to buy.
now the seller has reduced the price to 31K
it has 18 month warranty left, dealer is telling me all is good with the car now.
still run? or just bite it and hope for the best.
pls advise, still very conflicted on this.
best,
r
cars sounds ok. I assume inspection found car free of any serious/major body/paint work and title check comes up clean, etc?
Best to have PPI done on car.
I'm not current on market for these cars so I can't advise you regarding price.
Sincerely,
Macster.
I paid just a hair more for my '01... Gotta love the ragtop and I do love mine - 'cept it's been way too hot in So Cal lately to drop the top during the day time, but sure great for nights...
Welcome and enjoy!
