I was told that you could replace the takeup spring and fix it, but it is easier for me to just deal with it at the moment.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello I have a couple small issues I want to clear up on my car. 1 - Driver Seatbelt - it does not seem to retract all of the way and leaves slack. Just a little thing as the belt can get caught in the door jam. Is this easy and/or cheap to fix? 2 - Floor Mat moves - The driver mat seems to move from getting into and out of the car. I noticed that there is a Velcro type disk to help keep the mats in place. Do I need to replace the mats, or disk or both to fix this problem? thanks, Ryan

1: I have never had a car that DIDN'T have a bit of seat belt slack. I was told that you could replace the takeup spring and fix it, but it is easier for me to just deal with it at the moment. 2: The best way to fix this is...Track Mats. Protects the carpet, never slips, and if your shoes are dirty or wet it is no bother. Just take the mat out and hose it off. Rennline has them in black and silver. One of the better $100 I have spent on my 911.
