Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone put a child seat in the back on the 996 Cab? I remember reading on here that the rear seats are smaller on the cabs then the coupes, is this true?

POST 2Original post

Alex, Have put both a childseat and a booster in the back of my 996 Cab. Works great, but you do have to try the fit of the different brands. The Cosco (Bauer edition?) childseat works fine. I do recommend you put a thick towel under the seat as you will be torquing down the seat with the belt and you want to avoid marring the leather seat bottoms. Best, Geert

POST 3Original post

rear seats are not smaller, but the angle is more forward facing in the cab. I have used both rear-facing and forward facing and it fit's ok. With one of my kids being 6, she is now using a booster and and very comfortable and happy
