Suggestion
I just put the rotor on a scale and it weighed in at 19 lbs., although the reading could be off by a bit as I used a bathroom scale.

I swear I didnt use much brakes to completely stop, just his body under the tire did the trick to slow the car down.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

On the 318mm C2 rotor, they are HEAVIER -- around 20lbs.
Riad's 22lbs is probably about right for C4 or later C2 S 330mm (just caught that in his sig.)
LOL!!!
I had a German Shepard stop my 3500lb '69 Camaro Convertible once. I swear I didnt use much brakes to completely stop, just his body under the tire did the trick to slow the car down. No more details.......
Moral of the story: Dogs are not good brakes for cars........
I have a new pair of OEM front rotors, which I purchased from Suncoast, for my 2000 C2.
I just put the rotor on a scale and it weighed in at 19 lbs., although the reading could be off by a bit as I used a bathroom scale.
My bathroom scales came in at 19lbs for the fronts - though it was flashing 0 then 19 then 0 - probably below the weight where it could get an accurate reading.
So I did the old trick of me holding the rotor Vs me not holding the rotor on the scale...
And I'm not going to give you the total, but the delta was 19lbs again
As a comparison, 986 front rotors come in at 14lbs each
No problem.
Me weighing my rotor on the bathroom scale with my 6 year old daughter asking "what are you doing?"... "it's okay honey daddy is just weighing his car parts."
Right before the wife chimes in "you're scaring us".
Followed by me exclaiming "Wow, they're lighter than I thought - less unsprung weight is good!!"
