Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Hello members,
As part of a marketing research project for college, I have chosen to develop a marketing plan for the Porsche 911 and would like to get some first hand information from actual Porsche 911 owners based on the short following survey questionnaire. If you could please state the number of the question and your response, I would greatly appreciate your feedback.
1. Before purchasing your Porsche, what was the one other vehicle manufacturer that seemed to strike your interest compared with Porsche?
2. How many other Porsche vehicles do you currently own?
3. Please rank the following in order (1 being most effective, 5 being least effective) you feel Porsche tends to reach its target market most effectively?
TV
Internet
Billboards

You are leaving out a ton of otpions that would make sense. Take a look at some other polls that gather this kind of information....
I think so, too. I've taught this case. There is much more to marketing this particular brand than just targeting media. The 911 doesn't actually 'need' advertising in the traditional sense at all. They do it mostly for other reasons.
Also, you might want to look at survey tools like Zoomerang or Survey Monkey. Makes it easier for respondents and much easier to aggregate your data. Especially if, as I'd suggest, you want to present the survey on other forums.
FWIW... good luck with your project.
Q2 is flawed as well. "2. How many other Porsche vehicles do you currently own?"
There is a big difference in having 0 "other porsches" and having 1 or 2 other porsches.
1. None.
2. None (But this is my 4th. Seems like you should distinguish the repeat buyers from those who cross functional useage from those who just like to collect..... or not.)

Note that even though practicality was ranked lowest, if I thought it was impractical, no sale. Be cautious about the conclusions you draw from ranking.
8. 60
9. 50-60 (it is important to think about the ranges you create....why not 45-55? Why not in ranges of 3 years in each range? Your ranges implie there are differences across ages, and that you are probaby influenced by your base-10 view of the universe. Choosing the wrong sets of ranges means that you lose important information. So, it's back to -- what evidence do you have to choose the age ranges that you did? What will you do with that information? The age ranges may tell us more about you than the ranges will tell you about us.)
1. None - but that's the response you'll get from most. When you decide it's time, you buy one.
2. None - but change to "own or lease"

8. Keepin' this one for a while
1. None.
2. None. (had my black 996 for about 6 months when I got the 04)
3. What's wrong with Internet, Billboards and Magazines (hint they're all passive)

1. The intangibles of driving one
8. No clue, when the next 911 blows my mind like when I first read about and looked at pictures of the 2004 C4S Cabriolet.
I'm unsure how this is going to help - but good luck.
