Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

31 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Very impressive. I'm sure Porsche will welcome the challenge.

POST 3Original post

Fast does not trump big, heavy, and ugly in my book. I'd take a GT3 over that lump in a heartbeat. Oh, and "Enzo" on the link.

POST 4Original post

Quotes source post: 5210736

You're going to Porsche Hell for this one, Buddy.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No disrespect, I can't see myself driving the GTR either. Many have said they will take the GT3 anyday...I would too if I didn't have to cough out $50k more. You must agree that the GTR value is bar none.

POST 6Original post

Quotes source post: 5211889

I'd cough up the extra $50K. I think it's worth it.

POST 7Original post

That Datsun is so ugly, I think I just coughed up a hairball. A pregnant Chevy Impala with a race motor and tires. I look forward to seeing it totaled in Fast & Furious 4....

POST 8Original post

Quotes source post: 5211968

that's the best you can do - weak sauce

POST 9Original post

Damn...all it's lacking is the styling to tug at my heart strings. Well, that and a 6-speed gearbox. I don't care if the computer shifts faster/better than any human. I want to row my own gears in a sports car. Even so, the new GT-R is quite an engineering feat.

POST 10Original post

Quotes source post: 5212064

seriously bud, you're whoring yourself out over this car like Ashley Alexandra Dupre'

POST 11Original post

I dunno. If I were going that route, I'd probably take a C6 Z06 first before the Nissan GT-R.

POST 12Original post

There is nothing aesthetically pleasing about that car, not the kind of car you look back at as you walk away. Probably a blast to drive but does not do it for me. And I agree, C6 Z06 cant be beat for the bucks.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seriously...the ZO6 is $20k more and doesn't handle as well as the GTR. Did you watch the video clips. 3.8sec 0-60 - 8.4 sec 0-100 all the time, everytime. I'll take Jap technology over American muscle any day.

POST 14Original post

Quotes source post: 5212840

Well, there is quite a bit of American technology in the Z06, I have never been a huge fan of American cars but that is truly a great car. Owned many Japanese sports cars in my youth, don't miss any of them. And the Vette is at least a good looking car and I have allot of seat time in the Z06. But like I always say, to each his own.. drive what you like. Damn the GTR is fugly

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Come on guys....its not that ugly. I've seen the car in person...big, yes but not ugly. Kind of like Queen Latifa...

POST 16Original post

Quotes source post: 5212840

wow, just wow "jap"...funny one of your countrymen got his puxxy hurt over using the term Canuck - then went into a comedy/drama about the context etc.. Dunno, maybe it's all that cold weather? Would you take American technology over Japanese muscle?

POST 17Original post

We're not allowed to say Canuck now either??? Wow... I never heard of that being a negative slur... regardless, feel free to refer to me as a Canuck... I can take it. The GTR is still really huge and ugly... but an amazing piece of engineering.

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 5212929

I use "Jap" short for Japanese... no big deal there. What American technology??? LOL eg. please...I mean example. You mean like the Mustang!

POST 19Original post

Jap short for Japanese... hey Jake, go and say call a Japanese person that and see how much you'll enjoy a conversation with that gentleman. Please don't be ignorant.

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 5213077

This is the BS I get from you after watching your back on the other GTR post...come on bro, you don;t use WTF when you talk do you??? so what the Fug? LOL

POST 21Original post

did i ever ask u to "have my back?" you think i have any sort of allegiance to u because we agree that GTR isn't an ugly car? i'll speak my mind about any topic whether you or anyone else has my back or not here. usign the word Jap is absolutely bigoted and is a slur. this is for your own edification. stop using it unless you want to risk looking like you grew up on an island alone.

POST 22Original post

Quotes source post: 5212922

Wow, you are really not winning with that argument. I respect the car because it's fast, but it is no looker. You seem to be saying I know she's fat but you gotta admit she has a nice rack.

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 5213100

So Grass hopper, you're quit the S aren't you. Just remember...Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

POST 24Original post

Dude, it's clear as day that you find using the word "Jap" as being acceptable. You're the one looking like the fool here. As much as I BS about cars and stuff, I will never sound like a racist bigot because I am simply NOT one. I don't tolerate that stuff in my life thus why I'm speaking out on you about this. You're the one speaking like you have a brain comparable to a grasshopper's brain here, dude.

POST 25Original post

LIfe is to short for this inane bickering. Back to talking about the ugly fat GTR

POST 26Original post

Quotes source post: 5211968

Some around here would say the same about your VW Beetle.

POST 28Original post

GTR looks like an Air Jordan. Seriously Ugly. (Both)

POST 29Original post

Quotes source post: 5212993

Hey Hitler I said American technology, that's not limited to automobiles - try hard thinking outside the box Mr. 88

POST 30 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 5213328

Wow...you remind me of OMAROSA on Celebrity Apprentice. Lots of class...LOL

POST 31Original post

Every thread I read about the GTR gets highjacked by overly passionate defensive fanboy children, who attact critics of the car as if they're defending Barrack Obama's middle name. I thought the Porsche forum would be different, but apparently not. This phenomenon tells me something about this car that lap times and other statistics don't show.
