Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I tried using the touch-up paint, but it looks like sh*t.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

While washing the C4S today, I noticed a few stone chips on the nose of the car.
I tried using the touch-up paint, but it looks like sh*t.
My question is what is the best way to deal with small chips??
Get Langka and use touch up. It cleans up the excess touch up. It won't look perfect again, but it covers up the primer white and gets rid of the excess touch up paint around the chip.
I got a scratch on the side of my C4S when a friend was getting his bag out of the back. It is not deep so I am going to try a paint pen that I saw advertised - you can find them on autovisuals.com.
It's going to be a pretty busy few days so I don't expect to get around to it until later in the week but PM me if you are interested in knowing how it turned out.
Barry
P.S. If anyone has used one of these and had disasterous results please let me know before I get around to it!
Compound off everything you did. Get it completely clean. Then re touch with paint with a tiny hair tip brush. . (I assume you have the correct color match paint or base coat paint). Only get the paint in the chip, not outside the chip. Apply several coats till it fills it. Now is it better?

If you do this work by yourself, stop by a local medical supply house and get some syringes. Place a bit of paint in the syringe. It works much better than paint brushes, match tips, toothpicks, etc.
I use toothpicks with a sharp point at the end. Be careful not to get a glob of paint on the toothpick and apply only a small amount of touch up paint to the chipped area. This works well and won't completely hide the chips but makes them much less noticable.
If you are Arctic Silver......you are a good candidate for Scotchcal protection.......takes a pretty big bolder to make it through the urathane to the paint & you can hardly see it.....also cleans up easier (IMHO).
I've used their paint pens, and after about three attempts, I threw them away. The tips are too big, and the flow is very irregular. You'll end up with pant just streaming out of it. Be careful, and be on the ready with alcohol or paint thinner to clean up the mess.
