These (pic)? If so, I guess it comes down to preference. IIRC though there are several companies here stateside that sell the "double-barrel" and "nested" look for even cheaper than the OEM tips (~$300).

Preference for sure. I however doubt that the $300 tips you are referring to (I have never seen these tips) are of the same quality as these German made tips.

No doubt they are not the same quality. But for most, they are a great value for the money. However,if somebody wants top notch quality, yours are a great buy
