Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 99' Coupe and the window on the driver side does not seem to be dropping the 1/4" that it should in order to release the pressure while shutting the door. The passenger side wirks great, but the driver side either moves very little or not at all when yoy open the door. The operation of the window with the switch seems fine, it is just the door open drop that seems to be not working correctly. Any suggestions on what this is and what will fix it? Thanks, pat

POST 2Original post

Finally someone else out there has the same problem as me. I tried to reset it by doing the hold the button down for 20 seconds trick, disconnect and reconnect the battery, nothing worked so far. I also want to fix mine!! Peter

POST 3Original post

Sounds like your problem could be the microswitch in the handles to tell the the window to drop.
