Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Finally, in that image attributes menu I just changed the pixel size from its current setting which was 500 something X 400 something to 180 X 180 and then did a "save as" to save the pic with a new name.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I did it! I was able to post a picture of my car. Here are some more pics.

POST 3Original post

Congrats. So... who's got the bets avatar? Jeff

POST 5Original post

Good for you, now tell me how to do it , I can't find a picture that small.

POST 6Original post

ahhhh...congrants Love the color combination of the exterior/interior...

POST 7Original post

that car is begging for some mods. Do it! Do it!, You're gonna Do it! j/k I would swap the rear lights, fronts for litronics, and side markers for the clear and remove all of the 99 funky gray interior pieces and replace them with 00 up black, or better yet, replace them with body painted pieces, which also must be an underlying 00 because the 99 has a bumpy texture. I have all 00 black glossy pieces, save for a few carbon bits and artic silver and love it. I really really hated that funky gray though. Then again you can ear-mark that money for gas. #1 thing however before cosmetics is to get a nice alignment like -1f -1.6-8r. you will like it much much better.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

SPR, -1f, -1.6-8R what? toe? camber? sorry i am not that brite (ha ha bright) with shorthand. Mike C4S, I went to the USER CP at the top of the page and clicked on edit avatar. It was pretty straight forward. I had the pictures saved on my 3.5" disk. But they were all too large. so I picked one of my pictures, right clicked and selected edit. in the edit box I went to image and selected attributes and changed the size of the picture to 180 X 180 pixels. then i saved the image again with a new file name. Then in the edit avatar window i clicked on browse and chose the picture I just edited and it worked. Took me a couple of tries back and forth but it was worth it. I want to know how others have such large pics. I would rather see a nice large pic of the car than squint at a small one. Thanx for the compliment on the color combo. It is a royal bitch to keep the inside clean though. It seems like whatever I use, causes the color to come off of the steering wheel and shifter. (they are the same beige color as the rest of the interior). I am seriously contemplating selling it and getting an easier color to maintain. (the car is my daily driver and I pick up both my kids (3 and 4 yrs old) every day. Kids = dirt = cleaning constantly. But ohhh when it is washed and cleaned. the color is arena red. you know the word arena is from the italian from aren, which actually means blood. In fact thats how we say blood in Armenian. we say Aroun. So the real color of the car translated literally in english is Blood Red!! Sorry just had to share that.

After 2.5 years of owning my '99 C4 cab, I finally got around to putting my avatar on also. I understand the joy! Cheers Phil

POST 12Original post

NSX4pete, Thanks for the info on the avatar. Just completed mine. Pierre

POST 13Original post

I couldn't reduce the size of my picture using paint. What program did you use to reduce it??

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When I open up the picture from my a: drive where I had it saved, I just right clicked the mouse while on the pic and it give me a list of options. I clicked on the edit option and it opened up a small (1/4 size of my monitor screen) window where I could edit the pic. at the top of that small window there was the option to click on image and in that menu to click on image attributes. Finally, in that image attributes menu I just changed the pixel size from its current setting which was 500 something X 400 something to 180 X 180 and then did a "save as" to save the pic with a new name. Then in the avatar edit box I just uploaded the new file named picture. Hope that helps some more. Peter
