Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking to update my NAVTEQ CD and I'm confused with what looks like conflicting info. I currently have a disc that has a date of 08.2004 and reads "only compatible with PCM version 3.0 or higher." The window sticker options list reads "Porsche Communication Mgt. II." Will a compatible (updated) disc simply have the same "version 3.0 or higher" text with a later release date? Thanks in advance.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the link wross. I checked (after reading the print on the disc....doh) I have the 3.0 software installed. Now need to find an updated disc.

POST 4Original post

I know that Navteq just released a new CD set for PCM 2.0 in the Cayenne. Hopefully there's one for the 996 also.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Suncoast has the latest discs at $245 for PCM II (w/3.0 update).......I've heard list on the discs approach $400 and if so this is a nice price. But......yowza.....I'll wait until I get lost a few times and then contemplate getting a new disc! http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...Code=POTE996CM

POST 6Original post

I emailed Navteq and they told me they don't sell the update discs, I have to go through Porsche.

POST 7Original post

The Suncoast deal is about as good as I've seen for the most current maps.
