Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I often ear people looking at those fender screw to look for sign of repair / accident.
Leading evidence: 'Repair / accident' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Repair / accident' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Take it a step further and use some black shoe polish to draw in some eyes in the headlights and you might run into Lightening McQueen on the drive east.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am moving from Texas to Florida and I am taking the road trip tomorrow so I have put the bra on and also added a little bit blue tape to protect the headlight a little more and also the side mirrors as I could not find protection for those.
I thought the pic was fun enough to share
I'll keep you posted about the cop attention. I have already made the trip with my lexus before and it got chipped all over so this time I am not taking any chances. all is functional, light and turn signal so I am street legal per say. we'll see.
About leaving it on, the drive will be two days long, I hope it will not damage the pain. it is this or having paint chips all over so we'll see what is the better idea.

Just kidding.
Have a safe trip.
I'm this >< close to heading out on a 4K mile or longer road trip. I can't wait to hit the road. I may leave tonight after I leave the office. If I get just 20 miles down the road before I run out of steam and stop for the night that's 20 miles further from the office.
Sincerely,
Macster.
LOL! That should do it. Put some tape on some of the body panels and people will probably be snapping spy photos of the 2012 911 and sending them to Road and Track.
BTW, I was a little upset about the bra, as I had to remove two fender screws to install hooks for the bra.
Usually bra are much easier to install at least on my previous vehicles.
I often ear people looking at those fender screw to look for sign of repair / accident. Now I have two that are not 'factory', at least I have two more untouched.
Love bugs are out. Not a fan of the bra but I don't blame you for trying to keep the car from getting unnecessary wear from the drive. Tape on the headlights is overkill tho. troopers not gonna like that. Where in Florida are you relocating?
I wanted to report back on my cross country trip.
As you can see on the first picture, I had to put tape all around the headlight so that the bra did not act as a parachute. Really poor design if you ask me. I understand that the fenders are really flat but then why not having a transparent plastic all over the headlight. Especially that they do have some transparent plastic around it, for god knows what reason.
Anyways, without the tape, the bra would act like a parachute and all sorts of big bugs were trapped between the bra and the car. Worst than not having a bra on as they end up rubbing against the paint.
Lucky for me I had tons of blue tape on hand
Last shot is the car finally parked in Miami. The 1600 miles trip went smooth as silk, not any problem with the car, great gas mileage. In fact my wife driving her brand new BMW 128, did the exact same gas mileage as me, +- 28 mpg. Only minus are the seat, I am a bit wide
and the back rest was a bit pushing on my love handles. Nothing that forced me to pull over, but I had to do some pretty weird gym stretching exercise behind the wheel
I wanted to post a positive experience, showing once more that those car can be very reliable. Note that I did this trip in three days, 2 days of 10hours straight and last day of 6 hours, only stopping for gas. I know it can be done faster but my wife only does speed limit since she had a ticket not too long ago
I've used it on the track before. But it really looks like crap unless you take your time to put it on your car. When I do it at the track it looks like saran wrap on the front. But it does the job of protecting the paint!
