Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

51 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, as some of you know I have had many PCars. 993TT to 996TT etc. etc. For some reason (don't know why) my C4S was my favorite. Maybe because you did not see it much I don't know. Never should have sold that red one. Well after having to sell my TT and restructuring my business I was able to get back to a PCar. It is a 02 C4S as discussed in a previous thread. I am flying to Dallas to get it on Thursday. I know, it was in New Orleans. But could not get anyone to pick it up and bring it here till at least next week. So, have family friends in Dallas and was able to get picked up in a day. Thus, visit family friends, get PCar and drive back to CO. Not bad. I will update the journey (yes Tim, pictures). Because as some of you know, in a year the car will look 100% different Here is the car being put on the trailer today in LA.

POST 2Original post

Congratulations! Nice to see you back in a p-car and that's a beauty!

POST 3Original post

Welcome back..... enjoy modding her, she's a beauty!

POST 5Original post

Can't go wrong with a C4S. Looking forward to more pictures.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will do. Probably be called a "Picture *****" but hey

POST 7Original post

Congrats - I think you have the concept of a pic ***** in reverse Ask me - awe hell, don't ask me

POST 8Original post

Tim, at the very least, you're a Porsche *****! Once you have gone there, being a Pic ***** is only really isn't bad! Damn, I wish I would be in Dallas when you go to pick up the car. It would be great to meet you and see the car in person.

POST 11Original post

Does it drive? Just wondering why you didn't make your trip so that you would be driving it home. Nice looking ride of course. Enjoy!

POST 13Original post

Pac, Tim W. lives in Colorado and will be driving the car from Dallas to Denver.

POST 14Original post

Congrats, white 911s are superb. Second best to the metallic blue, and just before seal gray. IMO

Thanks!!!! Oh wait.... you were probably talking to the other Tim about the other white car! Well, you see how I could have misunderstood your comment since my Honda is so awesome!

VTEC baby.......................

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, it is tucked away in a relatives garage. And we fly out Thursday AM. I have to say that Chris at Carbine Motors really has gone above and beyond. What's funny about things is that I have had over 40 cars in my years and there is only one dealer I have ever bought multiple cars from. No matter how nice they seem from the onset they always show their colors if there is any complication. Chris (who is the owner) rolled with all kinds of oddness during this deal, banks, financing, wire issues, shipping goofballs etc. Never a terse word. Always willing to do what needed to be done. You know how many times I have asked for a picture of the new car being loaded for my collection? He is one of the only ones to have done it (see above). So, if you guys are looking for someone that did a great job, call Chris.

POST 19Original post

Congrats Tim. IMO the C4S is the best 996, but I might be a bit biased

POST 22Original post

wow! congrats Tim. C4s is a sweet car as you know and in white.... phew. Post some more pics when you get her home okay?! Cheers and 4x4s

POST 25Original post

I would of driven up to your house if you'd of paid for bails and tickets.

POST 26 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Guys Bags are packed for early AM flight One of the things I like about the 4S is you don't see them often. And yes.....mods are sitting in the garage already!

POST 27Original post

I thought you were already down there to trailer it home. Sounds like you are going the right route of driving there. If there hasn't been a recent oil and filter change I'd be thinking do it before the trip.

POST 29 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

IT'S MORNING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Get to go look under the tree!!!

POST 32 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It looks great! Will log on my computer in a bit to post pictures.

POST 33 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, got off to a wonderful start and a beautiful day in Colorado. Smooth flight Look what Chris at Carbine left in the boot Then had to wash the Bugs off it from transport Then of course it had to pose And guess who drove up! Tim! Making sure I was taking pictures to post on the boards (last picture)

POST 34Original post

POST 42Original post

That front black lip at the bottom.... There is a different one without that swoosh to it right? Was this an option or what? I like the other one better... especially painted body colour. Car looks seriously AMAZING by the way!
