Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have placed my car up for sale. The classified ad is number 9236. Unique black on black 911 with factory Aero package as well as custom TechArt spoiler. Well maintained and garaged 26,500 mile car. No paint or body work. Important options include- PSM, aluminum gauges, 18 turbo twist wheels and sport seats with hard shell backs. The car has been lowered and corner-balanced and has JIC Cross coilovers as well as GT3 sway bars installed. Oil changed every 2000 miles, new brake pads and rotors, new battery and new mass air flow sensor. I purchased the car in 2004 from Legend Porsche in Long Island as a certified pre-owned Porsche. I have never had any issues with this car. I am selling because I am buying a GT3. Asking- $27,500 obo Please contact Greg Harold Jr. at [phone removed] or [email removed]

POST 2Original post

DUDE - pretty low in the front... whats the clearance? GLWTS - Nice/clean looking car

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The clearance is agout 4.5" Not too bad but it is low. Fully adjustable ride height though with the coilovers. Thanks for the kind words!

POST 4Original post

Awesome looking P-car. Best of luck w/ the sale!

POST 5Original post

Looks great! I hope you get all the money for it. Have you found the GT3 yet? I'm jealous!

POST 7Original post

Everyone told me that turbo twists wouldn't fit on a narrow body! Please explain.

POST 8Original post

Quotes source post: 6964478

Define everyone. I had turbo twists on a C2.

POST 9Original post

I had twists on a C2 (recently sold, but they fit fine - depends on the offset and width)

POST 10Original post

I quote Eric "Don't believe the offsets are workable for a narrow body 996...turbo and C4S only." So you know, EVERYBODY.

POST 11Original post

Quotes source post: 6965439

the factory "turbo twist 2's" are made for the WB... 11" wide, the rear offsets 45et... "turbo twist 1" (like pics above) are made for the NB.... 10" wide, rear offsets are 65et

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for all the well wishes, I hope this goes to an enthusiast as it is a great car. I have not owned many cars that have not had any issues in four years of ownership. The twists were designed for both narrow and wide body cars. I believe the wheels for the turbo are hollow. The wheels for the narrow body are solid spokes as these are.

POST 14Original post

Hope you sell your beautiful C2...then we can see your new GT3. Looks like a very nice example, low miles, lots of extras and a decent sell price. Lots of 'bottom fishing' pricing going on, but a car like yours should command a better price. GL

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Once again thanks for the kind words. I have moved on in my mind so let's get this car sold. New price is $26,000! I never thought I would say that but it seems that is where the market is. Who wants a great car?

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Car is sold. Thanks to everyone who was interested.

POST 18Original post

WTG! can I inquire as to where the buyer found the car Thanks in advance

POST 20Original post
