Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I use only leatherique on the hides, and there are no chips or scratches in the paint at all.
Leading evidence: 'Use only leatherique' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'lowest mileage aero in the country' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Run rmcb5.com' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. C'mon this is probably the lowest mileage aero in the country.

I still run rmcb5.com which was kind of a spin-off from that site.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Too many cars, so one has got to go....

(cars & trucks - by owner)
More pics available, car is available for PPI. No RMS issues and always exercised.
Thanks,
Chad
This is an amazing car, it is so nice that I feel guilty driving it. It needs a good home with someone who has this as their only fun car. I already took the hit on the depreciation, so the next owner gets the benefit of a new car at a used car price.

*sigh* You're 5 months too late w/ this post!!!
The buyer for this car is going to be in for one helluva treat, that's for sure. Man-o-man-o-man, I'm almost tempted to unload my recently acquired C4S for this gem...

You would not be disappointed. This is one of the most beautiful 996's I have seen , in the condition, colors and the trim options, and as a PCA guy I see a lot of cars. I use only leatherique on the hides, and there are no chips or scratches in the paint at all. The PCA judges at the concours docked me points for registration and insurance cards in the driver's pocket, dust in the air intake snorkel (white glove inspection), and lubricant on the door stop. I think they just didn't want to give the car a perfect score, especially since there were much newer cars that didn't even come close. The car has never been tracked, but has seen a few club tours.
Wow, I remeber when this car was for sale about 2 years ago. I recognize the replacement rims in the photos.
You sure haven't driven it much. If I recall it only had 9 or 10K on it then. The said he'd let it go for 42K at the time, but I just couldn't pull the trigger on a black car. That interior is just so damn sweet though. Just like a ME car.
Beautiful ride and it looks better with the sport classics.
I picked it up about two years ago from a local broker and paid enough more than $42K to make my selling price painful especially since I put money into it in terms of wheels, tires, spacers, and PSS9s, but that is the times. It had just over 9K miles on it and have put on "club" miles only, and bi-weekly exercise. I have too many cars to put any miles on them. The car is black metallic and has a warm, almost root beer look in direct sunlight.
I keep seeing this ad on CL and drool. I am just now shopping for my first Porsche. Unfortunately it is outside of my budget, unless of course you are entertaining seriously lowball offers
. Good luck with the sale, it really is a fine looking example.
Hey, is that the same "gietl" I knew a bit from the Club B5 forums many moons ago? (I had the Der Meister handle there.)
Hope all is well with you, and there are tons of choices for you, but this car would be a great choice obviously.

Hi Dave -
Yes, that was me back in the day. I still run rmcb5.com which was kind of a spin-off from that site. Doing well, we decided to try and pursue getting a Porsche this year instead of waiting another year or two.
How have you been?
Sorry to the OP for taking this for sale thread OT, if I can come up with some extra cash you will be getting a call.
