Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They used the track for the pit, staging lanes for the staging lanes, and the huge blacktop pit area for the actual cones and course.

The remainder of the week, the heat and sun blasted the area, setting new records for even Savannah.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If so, I may have taken a picture of your car.
I tried to get as many 996's as I could find both in the Corral and on the judging field. If you were registered for the Corral and displayed your windshield sign, then I shot that first and then your car. I shot 996's on the judging field with their info plaque in front.
Gonna take me a few days to post them all so be patient if you don't see yours right away.
Me, first, of course. LOL!
The concours was on Monday and there were two large fields of cars - the judged cars, and the Corral which was layed out by model. 996's and 997's were grouped together in the corral.
There was a brand new Panamera entered in full concours (not pictured on this thead). Also a lone 904 and a single Carrera GT. But the highest dollar collectible car on the judging field was a 1964 356 Carrera 2 coupe.
There was also on Cayenne, which is also ran the rally today, and will be autocrossed tomorrow. The owner is the PCA National Vice President, but the actual entrants are his wife and son.
Thanks!
After having both and seeing lots of cars from the front, I can say I still perfer the original Mkl headlights in the late '99 and up style w/o the amber and in the litronic option.
On Sunday for concours prep and check-in, everything was inside the convention center except the actual wash rack for the cars. Once clean they were driven into the A/C of the convention building and then prep was finished there.
On Monday, we got lucky with the the heat. The sky was mostly overcast the whole day, blocking the sun and heat quite a bit, no rain, tollerable humidity, temps almost near 90 deg. The Parade staff had roaming golf carts loaded with iced water and several flavors of sport drinks to keep everyone well hydrated. All week long they supplied free water and sport drinks to all of the venues, all of the workers, and all of the participants. The organization and execution of this critical step was orchestrated by Cathy Robson from San Gabriel Region. This was not her first nor last Parade as Chief Water Girl.
Cathy was also my Navigator for the Gimmick Rally on Thursday. I had never met her before Monday afternoon at the Concours. Parade is such a great place with wonderful people.
The remainder of the week, the heat and sun blasted the area, setting new records for even Savannah. Temps in the low 100's with heat index in the 100-teens. Totally brutal. The autocross was just a few hundred yards from the Westin Hotel on the Hutchinson Island race track. They used the track for the pit, staging lanes for the staging lanes, and the huge blacktop pit area for the actual cones and course. No trees. No breeze. No relief from the unrelenting heat. Wow!
On Tuesday I did the TSD Rally in my nicely air-conditioned 996. Same for the Gimmick rally on Thursday, which spent most of its time winding through stunningly quaint Beaufort, South Carolina. Lots of large oaks shading the historic homes and roads.
On Wednesday, since I wasn't autocrossing this year, I beat the heat by doing my two volunteer sessions (all day) in the very cool and quiet Goodie Store. LOL! Talk about putting the fox in the hen house. LOL! Or maybe having an alcoholic tend bar. LOL!
Friday morning was the Tech Quiz. After that I headed home to Jacksonville.
Next year (2012) the Parade will be in Salt Lake City. The year after that (2013) the tentaive plan is for Traverse City, Michigan. That one should hopefully be a bunch cooler that Savannah. But I heard lots of people say they were hoping that it would return to Savannah again some day.
Damn the heat! Full speed ahead!
And Parade has provided me with an opportunity to update my avatar (710 and the event sticker under the 0).
So unless you are "somebody" in PCA, your number is randomly assigned in the order in which you registered. I always hope to get some interesting number. When I saw the number I was assigned I did a ROTFL. I had tears in my eyes it was so funny. What? You don't get it?
"A blonde walks into an auto parts store, strolls up to the counter and tells the guy "I need a 710."
The parts man stares blankly at her and says he does not know what a 710 is. He asks her what kind of car she has, year, make, and model, and pages through his books, but cannot find a 710 listed anywhere.
"Ma'm, are you certain aboout the part number?"
"Well, my boyfriend was working on my car this morning and he said I needed 710. Here, he even wrote it down so I would not forget it. And it was clearly marked 710 on the yellow thingy."
She slides the piece of paper across the counter and it simply reads "710."
Now turn your computer screen upside down.
Now I have OIL on my windshield! LOL!
