Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

I have seen some pretty deep ridges that still preformed well for street use - there are numbers somewhere as to the thickness of the rotor (not for resufacing as mich as for running longer)

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261027T025149Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, Just on the off chance that someone out there has an unused set of front rotors for an 02 C2 cab, they don't need anymore I'm in the market for a set. PM if you want to free up some shelf space(Ed?). Thanks, Tim

POST 2Original post

haha - I dont have anything USEFUL are yours bad? runout or grooves

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just wearing out, I think. I have a ridge on the top and bottom of the rotor surface. I need new pads soon so i was thinking of doing both at the same time, but after doing some searches i'm pretty confused.Should I install the new pads with the old rotors to break them or should I change both at the same time?

POST 4Original post

if you can, do them all at once. if the ridges are not too deep you might get by with just a pad swap - I have seen some pretty deep ridges that still preformed well for street use - there are numbers somewhere as to the thickness of the rotor (not for resufacing as mich as for running longer) BTW when you car was new it came with new pads and rotors....they can be changed at the same time to ALL new

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm going to the winter skills day on Saturday, if your there take a look and let me know what you think.
