Are these easy to install? Please adivse any tricks or issues. BTW - checked local (Atlanta) P dealers' websites today, very few 996 for sale. Hennessy has only cabs and Jim Ellis has a handful only. Looks like supply is tight here.....

Easy to do. Lens pops out from rear (towards tire). Just pull out and then slide towards the tire. Like Itzkirb said, see the manual on bulb replacement for more detail.

Nick-- 1. Yes, I installed my old clears in my parking lot after work at the office. All you need is a flat head screwdriver to push in the retaining pin. 2. ARE YOU CRAZY? There are 996s all over the place in Atlanta...look through autotrader too, but I pass Jim Ellis daily on the way to and from work, and I always see at least 7-8 996s sitting in the front of their lot, not including the ones in the back. Honestly I would make a phone call as the salespeople updating the website have probably gotten lazy.

Thanks for input, yes I am crazy. I don't know if Jim Ellis keep website refreshed but I drive past Hennessy daily and rarely see 996's or 997's - almost all Boxsters and Cayennes. I don't doubt they are available through other sources in various mileage / condition levels.
