I am trying to price and sale my stock wheels and tires that came off my 2003 996 C2. They are 18" wheels and are in excellent condition. The buyer would also get the Pirelli P Zero tires with 75% tread left. I will get better pictures of them loaded soon. What price should I put this package at? How do I sell them? Probably worth around $1500...maybe slighly more. That is what you could expect on Ebay so i'd guess that is the "market" price.

Well, you cannot sell here without being a member. Even this post is borderline and will likely be deleted. Consider joining to avoid this type of harrassment (it's cheap, and worth every penny!). OEM 5-spokes are running ~$1200, +/- based on condition. Set of PZeros with 75% life is ~$500. These are my guesses based on looking for wheels over the last year or so, and having bought 3 sets of used tires. Best selling locations are Porsche boards: here, 6speed, pelican parts. Ebay seems to work, but you add a bunch of other annoyances dealing with that community (at least on the enthusiast boards you have community pressure if something goes wonky). My local PCA region has a nice classified ads online for free which also seems to move stuff fairly quickly. You could also avoid the private party hassle and sell to Wheel Enhancement or one of the other wheel specialty companies, but you'll get much less. Go sign up for Rennlist membership, it's fast, easy, and worth it. =)
