Long story short, after a month of so of doing different thing I installed a new MAS and the CEL stayed off for good.

When I bought it, it had a CEL so the dealer had an Indy replace the O2 sensors and I thought all was ok.

I've had my '99 Cab for about 5 years now. When I bought it, it had a CEL so the dealer had an Indy replace the O2 sensors and I thought all was ok. Long story short, after a month of so of doing different thing I installed a new MAS and the CEL stayed off for good. Well now it's on again with P1125 code. I think I'll get a new MAS and hopefully it will again take care of the problem. Car has low 50K miles. Has anyone had to put a 3rd MAS in a car with just over 50k? I know there was a problem with the original factory MAS and they were short lived but my second lasted only about 25k miles.

Are you running an aftermaket air filter? If so, which one? Don't be like the average Porsche Tech and simply replace parts when you have no idea what the cause of your problem is. If you have a scanner, it will tell you if your MAF is good or bad.

Stock air filter, Porsche replacement motor with about 10k miles or less. I have an OBDll code reader. What scanner are you refering to(?), a Porsche factory service tool? I just pulled the MAF and carefully cleaned it and reset my CEL. We'll see what happens within the next couple of weeks. Anyone know how many starts or run cycles and the specifics of when it may or may not come on again? TIA, as always
