Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Last Sept I put the spoiler on my car, I like it, Ive decided to go a little more low key. I have the spoiler, finished with wiring harness and TT front lip all for 1500$ plus shipping, local would be better. PM me sorry admin, can't get into classifieds on my computer. Chris

POST 2Original post

The Misha wing is very well made, great fit and finish. Goodluck with your sale Surgeon. I have to admit ever since I put the wing on the car gets MUCH more attention on the road.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, I like it, just want to be a little more low key. I'm offering the whole shootin' match.

POST 4Original post

That is a smok'n deal for anyone that wants the set-up.

POST 5Original post

Have you picked your lower key alternative yet?

POST 6Original post

Chris: Is this coming from the better half. Every time I threaten to get a wing, its just a battle. That aside, where did you have the paint work done and what did it cost? Actually, that front spoiler doesn't fit a 01' c4, does it? Something about the head lights? I have been thinking that maybe I should just skip the upgrade cycle and buy a used turbo. No leaks and fewer "required" mods. I don't think the C4 is the Porsche I want to own forever. I think you mentioned once about going to the TT after your leak. Just a little over a month before the track opens!!!

POST 7Original post

Chris did you buy a new car come on tell me ..no one else will know~

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No guys, just got tired of people oggling at it all the time, attracts too much attention for me. Prob just run the stock spoiler. Should match my new x73 well....when I get it. My wife is actually pretty cool about my car stuff, she just hated the spoiler. I'll be at limerock 3/24, any of y'all going? Chris, rpm racing mounted the spoiler for me and their paint shop next door did the work, cost about 400 to finish it properly. Don't fight the mod bug, just do as much as you want, my next ride will prob be a gt3 as I'm more into the track stuff now.

POST 10Original post

Here's an option for you - we just did one for a turbo owner. Strosek - understated but a little more beef than stock:

POST 11Original post

Strosek actually makes some pretty nice 996 body kits/parts as well.. actually they have my favorite bumper & body kit... i'm surprised nobody has got one on the board.. they do have a us distributor in florida... http://www.strosek.de/prog04/prog01d.htm

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry, no more wings for me. As far as wings go the one I have is awsome, just grown tired of it for now. I'm fickled.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Price reduction attention Walmart shoppers; 1300 for the pile or 1200 for spoiler and hwre, 100tt lip same terms pm me I gotta move 'em

POST 14Original post

Anyone know if this rig will mount on a '99 C2? I'm not local though ... big problem? thanks.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think it should fit fine, I know it will fit a '03 c2, might want to check out www.996wings.com , his site might have more up to date info. Non-local is not a problem, I just have to drag my butt out to find a box!

POST 16Original post

what kind of rims are those on teh STROSEK Porsche...? they look simply awesome!

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here is a better shot They are Italian knockoffs from highline wheels, Migli something, I dunno, they are not very expensive, I think they sell the set of 4 for 1k. Good enough for snows. I will include spacers/bolts.

POST 18Original post

is it black? Im very interested...... oh, and it works on a 03 C4S?

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Spoiler shot Midnight blue metallic, all finish work done (400$) plus wire harness for w/ and w/o light(150$), plus I'll include the TT lip(279 porsche)

POST 20Original post

Surgeon, The wheels on that Strosek car is not the same as in your pic above. The Strosek wheel is actually an O.Z. Motorsport Design wheel, produced for Strosek, FVD and a few others. Ciao, Johannes E.

POST 21Original post

doh.. i guess that answers my question about the C4S... ok , im thinking i have to have this.. so how hard is this to put on?

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Takes 1-3hrs, kirby has a nice diy on this. Let me know. Chris

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Another shot, what strosek car are you guys talking about?

POST 24Original post

Surgeon, I was ref. to C70Pete's question re. the wheels on that Strosek car earlier in the thred. I was assuming you were ref. to his question as well when you posted that pic of the right rear wheel in close-up. Sorry 4 the confusion! Ciao, Johannes

POST 25Original post

damn.. i was thinking it was black already.. painting would be a PITA? or no.? I dont have any idea where I could have it done.

POST 26Original post

Since it's been painted already I assume the body shop already did all the sanding and prep work. I can't imagine it being any more difficult to paint a second time. Ask your local bodyshop about this.
