I did run those 25mm spacers for a 100 miles with the re's to make them fit, and afterward the noise started.

I would take it for a long drive and then test the temperature of the bearings with your hand.

Lately I think that my wheel bearings are bad in the front as I have a whine that occurs while driving. I take it out of gear and still noise, It occurs without breaking. I did run those 25mm spacers for a 100 miles with the re's to make them fit, and afterward the noise started. If that is the problem how difficult would it be to replace them? Can I do it without throwing off the alignment i.e. without too much dissasembly? Thanks Sean

I would take it for a long drive and then test the temperature of the bearings with your hand. Compair the temos of all 4 wheels bearings. Might give you an indication of which bearing if any. I would also remove the front wheels and manually rotate the wheel while listening. Compare the sound of the 2 front wheels. Replacing the bereaings is easy, but you want to maje sure that is the broblem. Could be a a brake dragging or something caught between the wheel and brake assembly.
