Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Today I was following the Pelican engine removal directions. It calls to remove the rear sway bar. I disconnected the bottom nut on the driver side drop link and the 4 13mm nuts on the rear crossmember. However, the passenger side just came out of the bottom of the shock as if it was not attached. Has anyone seen this happen? It can't have been loosened by driving surely? must have never been tightened? I freaked out thinking I'd have to take the shock off, however looks like the drop link has a flat on it to allow reinstall.
