Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
I am almost positive they were sold for around $6K for a set with sliders.
Leading evidence: 'Set with sliders' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Set with sliders' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Wow, GT3 seats cost over $5,000. I will sell my GT3 seats to the first $5,000. Get them while they last....
I have to believe that more goes into making a seat than a copy of a mold. Well, I hope.
These were addressed on 6speed. The pictures of the seats in the shop were Arling's seats at Lucent. CF GT3 seats were made for some of the MKI GT3's sold in the UK. I am almost positive they were sold for around $6K for a set with sliders. Arling said he saw these on a car that came in and the sliderswere wobbly. I know from experience the BK sliders do wabble. So that might be what he experienced. As far as the finished product he may chime in if he reads this board.
Would love to see how they hold up in an accident (detect sarcasm). Did the price of the real GT3 go up? Just love when ebay'ers embelish "retail" price. Please. I would pay an additional $1K for the real thing for $2500 from several of our usual retailers.
David, did you ever weigh yours? My non-CF ones were 29 lbs ea. The ones of fleaBay claim to be about half the weight of mine. Sounds too good to be true. Also, mine do flex somewhat.
Those posted above are not "replicas" persay. They are the recaro version with the CF back.
The oem Porsche seat does not have the CF back but is still by recaro.
(I believe!)
wow... i love the look of GT3 seats, but I just can't pull the trigger on them because they just aren't that comfortable for long drives IMO
But they are excellent for the track and the CF is hot!!
IIRC mine are about 14lbs w/o sliders and there is no flex. I can't opine on the replicas.
They are fairly comfortable...really depends on your build. I have driven from LA to Vegas which is just a little under 3 hours.
You are correct in that the "normal" GT3 seats are GRP and are made by Recaro; but these are also "OEM Porsche seats" (see logo embossed on headrest) and are also made by Recaro (see logo embossed on rear of seat in earlier pic). As others have noted these seats were available from the factory if you asked nice enough
The earlier comment is also true...CF GT3 seats sold for $5-6K (and that was when the Euro was weak)
I shot over a question because these guys are in So. Cal.... West Covina I think and they would not consider local pick-ups at all...... Humm..... I thought I would take a run and see what they looked like before-hand. I guess "no-dice".....
