I have a '99 C4 w/o heated seats. I have found the driver seat extremely uncomfortable since my purchase and after having spent a few minutes in the passenger seat I think the driver side bottom cushion is worn out. Does anybody know a part number (cost?) and difficulty to replace?

look on ebay, craigslist or forums and get it replaced or upgrade to a sport seat. otherwise, the cushion can probly be changed by a good upholstery shop. Check with dealers for recommendation and visit their shop.

A good local upholstery shop should be able to re-pad it for you. There is also an aftermarket heat thing they could do at the same time.

I put heated cushions in my 2000 cab and have the old cushions. They are yours for the cost of shipping. In great shape, takes an hour or two to replace the bottom, backs are a little more work. If you want them let me know.

By the way the is no difference between the drivers and passenger seat cushion. If you want to get them new I can give the the part numbers. If you want to add heating the parts including relays, switches, etc. the parts are $650-$700, 6+ hrs labor. I can give you DIY information.
