Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Yea they are all used anyways, it sounds like he is trying to make the sale.

Suggestion
I agree very much with the point about checking the rubber.

a Porsche dealer said that if I buy a car from him, I can pick any Porsche wheels I want from any other used car on his lot..
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

a Porsche dealer said that if I buy a car from him, I can pick any Porsche wheels I want from any other used car on his lot.. Is this a sign that they are trying to get rid of the car for some undesireable reason or perhaps something is wrong w/ the car & they want to dump it on some sucker?
or do you think they are just tryinig to make a sale & are trying to be nice?
To make a sale, I'm certain that a salesman may try to do what he promised you. Depending on the size of the wheels of the used cars on his lot, it could be tough to carry out his promise.
from my indie dealer...i was told bring 'em back anytime as long they are in the same condition they'd swap 'em out for me. i know they meant it, but never took advantage of it.
Go to Edmunds.com input the miles, color, etc... then make an offer, if he really wants to make a deal he should come close to your price, otherwise there are many other places to buy...
Don't let the "pick your wheels" justify spending 12K more for the car that you don't have to.
He probably has a stack of winter wheels of various Porsche cars hidden at the back of the lot.
This is often their hidden margin - take in the car with two sets of wheels and sell them with one. then sell the wheels to other customers.
It won't hurt him to swap a set of wheels for ones he has in stock.
I agree very much with the point about checking the rubber.
Granted it is semingly an easy switch, no big deal, but you're dealing with a car salesman. Everytime I have ever heard the line about changing out wheels etc, it never happens. Those guys will say anything for a sale, I trust them as far as I can throw 'em!
I've met alot of dishonest people in all walks of life. As a gambling man, I would trust a car salesman over a lawyer, doctor, insurance agent, stock broker, real estate agent, financial advisor, construction contractor, or indian chief.
If all it takes is another set of wheels to finish the deal, then go for it!

Think the dealer is trying to close the sale. Make sure you see the rims before closing the deal.
I would make sure I drove the car with the new rims on there. Make sure there's no wabbling.
Last but not least, make sure the rest of the car is in great shape and the price is right. I would not pay extra for the rim swap.
