Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well guys, I finally bought a 996! It is a 2001 with about 45K miles. The previous owner was great. He even detailed the car for me beofer bringin it to my house. But thanks to everyone for their help. I am surprised at the difference between my F348 and the 996. The F car is pure brute, while the P car is so refined; like a beautiful woman. I can't believe that I dont need to wait 15 minutes for the oil in the Porsche to be warm enough to get the car in second car; an issue with older F cars like my 348. Mods coming - get rid of the amber side markers and the cassette holder, B&M short shifter, and a Ipod aux hookup. Enjoy the pics. I took them today at the Cars and Croissants event in NJ.
