Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think it was an '02 even though the guy said it might be an '04 or an '05 (I saw 10/02 on the doorjamb). $32k w/ 66k miles in I would say fair condition. The front bumper has a circular plate about 1.5-2" missing. Is that a tow point? How easy is it to order those and put it back on?

POST 2Original post

yup - tow hook cap check with Eric over at bumperplugs.com and see if he has them pre-painted ready to ship - Many of us have bought stuff from him and are happy with the service and quality. - I picked up a key hole plug and license plate "bumperplugs" from him... that er stick a cigar in the hole and light er up

POST 3Original post

Fair condition? Anyone who wouldn't even replace a $4.25 cap before putting the car on the market--you have to wonder what else they neglected. New PS2s cost $1300 for these cars. Brakes? How about the clutch? RMS? With 66k miles in really great condition it's a low $30s car. With "driver" Porsches (more than 5k miles per year), condition and maintenance is EVERYTHING. If it needs the usual stuff from being neglected, it could be worth as low as mid-$20s.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, apparently it is the owner's car and it's not even listed yet but I happen to be driving by and saw it so checked it out but didn't drive it. Definitely asking too much for it but because the supply around here is lower the cars are usually overpriced. Who knows what else would turn up after an inspection.

POST 5Original post

really ? $4.25 - wow, thats cheaper than air for the tires!

Come on Ed, quit buying the Porsche air from the dealer....the rest of us buy aftermarket air at a discount!

POST 7Original post

Ed likes the Porsche air only because it comes out of a shiny nozzle!

POST 9Original post

It sends a red flag up that this guy doesn't know what year his car is.

Where do you get the hot air for the tires on your Honda??

Korean air is sooo far superior. It always costs more at the track.
