Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well, came home to a mostly dead battery. Popped open the door, pulled out the little red tab, and put on the charger. Seems that was enough to pop the hood. Put the battery charger on for a few hours, disconnected, closed the hood, and...
well nuts. Something is up. No charge at all. Put the charger back on the red tab and now I get nothing. Now, not a horn, a click, nothing...
1) is there a fuse I should check?
2) any way to get the hood open, sans electrical? (or drill)
AND I heard they added a "special" phone line for repeat customers, so they get "Priority Pricing" (aka add 30%)
BTW- is "deep woods" some sort of golf term? Gawd I hate being slow AND dumb
I've got 3 of them on order from 3 different dealers, just in case one or more of them go under.
I tried calling 1-800-SULPHATE but the operator said that line was no longer working. She laughed uncontrollably, and told me to try 1-800-CPONOT. Said I might have "better luck." So I guess I'll try that one later.
It may have started that way. I code... and when something fails catastrophically with minor chance of recovery, I'll usually put in $WHATEVER is in deep weeds so I can find it in the log file. A bad habit carried over to the online world.
We had a cold streak here in Minnesota, with temps down to -28F. Three weeks or so of that was enough to leave me dead in the water. I actually waited for an extra couple days for things to warm up to 17F before brushing the snow off.
Wish I could get my bride to park outside for me. (grin)
I am going to report you to AFPCP - the American Federation for the Prevention of Cruelty to Porsches.
Seriously, I hope you get your issue resolved. Were any of the fuses blown?

Nope. The battery was just really, really dead. Picked up a new one - it is getting close to replacement time anyhow...
