Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The paint on my stock 996 '99 cab's wing seems to be dying (faded, scorred looking). I'm figuring that since I probably need to repaint it that may be I should just get a new wing. I like the speed rising part of the wing, but would like something more pronounced. Something like some of the turbo wings you can get (996/997 turbo). I realize the stock turbos wings won't fit, but is there a lookalike that would fit a 996 cab? I've looks around at a bunch of wings and can't seem to find one that moves also. Dammad

Alas this is just a normal turbo wing and won't fit a 996 cab.

There are some things to consider when looking at changing the rear wing. There is more there than looks. You have to consider how it will effect the cars control at speed. w/o some pictures of your set up I doubt anyone will be able to pick out a good wing for you. On the other hand if you just want to change it and dont care how it might effect other things, or if you have a real grasp of these concepts and dont need the help from those on this forum that know how to help you.. by all means go for it.... I think some pics and descriptions of your current set up what you plan to do with the car and what you are willing to undertake would be useful info just my $02
