Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that contain suggestions

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Here is a direct link to an article describing the use of a PC on Autopia:
Leading evidence: 'Use of a pc' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use of a pc' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

PC (porter cable). You also need to have the correct pads and products to maximize the PC.
www.autopia-carcare.com
is where you can buy products. The learning forum is at

I've been a member there since July 2001 and there is still alot to learn.
The PC 7424 (random orbital) is a great machine - you can actually pick it up at your local Lowe's for just over $100. The backing plates and the pads you can get at

The cheap orbitals that you see at Pepboys are OK for applying wax, but the quality of the bonnets may leave some swrils if they are not up to par. They don't have enough speed or quality applying bonnets to do any swril removal. The Porter Cable is idiot proof and has the speed and wide selection of pads to do defect removal. Its a wise investment if you don't take it to the detailers. High speed rotary beffer should be left for the professional as it may burn and swrill the paint if you don't know how to use it. I also find many detail shops that don't know how to use them either. Go to Autopia.org for more detailing tips and product selection.
