Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The fluid in the link is what I use for the transmission and final drive on my '05 BMW R1200RT.

Suggestion
I could hardly wait to change out the old one and see how used (dark) it actually is.

I've read Mobil Delvac 75W90 is the "right" fluid, I've also read 75W90 LS is for limited slip diff (which I don't have), and should use 75W90 NS (no slip?), but what about this stuff 75W90 QT in this link

Suggestion
The factory states they are miscible and the transmission does not have to be flushed if one uses either fluid.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone have any comments on this fluid?
+1. Porsche fill is made by Shell and good stuff.
Side bar: If you have an LSD you most definitely don't want anyone's 'friction modifier' additive. They make the LSD clutches slip and wear out. I've never heard of a 'no-slip' desigination. Is it intended for LSD's?...
I agree. You can buy OEM fluid from places like Sunset for about $23/quart. You'll need 3.
FYI- Here is a recent UOA from my 2006 Boxster S with OEM fluid. I did this about 55,000 miles early!! Compared to my report for Delvac 75W90 (from the Turbo) the fluids are significantly different.
My info is Mobilube 75w-90 and a Shell 75w-90 are the only fluids approved for use in these cars. The factory states they are miscible and the transmission does not have to be flushed if one uses either fluid. And the use of one of these fluids is what permits the factory to specify IIRC a 90K miles interval between fluid changes.
Sincerely,
Macster.
I just bought 5L of Mobilube PTX from the dealer. I could hardly wait to change out the old one and see how used (dark) it actually is.
I decided to stick to stock oil for peace of mind and from research that I did on the net.
