Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You're right, it should come with auto install AND it should clean your pipes at least once a week!

In order to make the install a bit more challenging, you should use the German instructions only!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Sorry Stan but you are not in luck. I too researched this a few years ago for my car. The wide body engine cover will not fit the narrow body. I thought somebody posted recently that they found a company that makes one aftermarket for the C2 that does MOVE like the Turbo.
I'm thinking the tail is cheaper than buying a TT. Hpefully I'll find one that is to my liking. I'm really after a soft looking tail along the lines of the 993 TT and S models. They looked incorporated to the body as opposed to added on. Kinda OT but given the same driver, same track what would be the est. time difference 996 NA vs 996 TT?
Now I have seen a 993TT tail made for a 996. Forgot who makes it though. Somebody did post recently about that though.
As for your other question I would say roughly 5% faster times for the TT.
Strosek makes that wing...it look likes the 993 TT but a little lower and has air intake scopps oh the front side

Kilrgt, That is primo. Does it have grill openings on the top? What does the TechArt III look like? I like the pic as IMHO it accents the car as opposed to drawing focus to just the wing.
Just let some bird try and relax in the tub @ 150mph. I was thinking it kinda looked like a Manatee tail. At any rate I like the look, hopefully it has vented grill on top like the OEM lid.
Stan - I remember seeing this pic and a few other pics showing the tail from different angles. There is a hole on the middle to let air in, so that shoots the bird bath idea all to hell! I was searching for the pics but couldn't find them. I'll keep looking.
This wing thing is frustrating. Maybe I should request pics of peoples cars with wings? What do you think Gota911? Go in together and make the request?
Stan - That looks good! I like the idea that the stock spoiler stays so you can easily revert back if desired. The install sounds fairly srtaight forward, too, maybe too easy. In order to make the install a bit more challenging, you should use the German instructions only!
Stan - Aesthetically speaking, I don't like the larger wings or spoilers because I like my rear-ends smooth and unadorned! Its all about personal preference, and since I have yet to track my P-car, (and may do it only once or twice a year) performance isnt the issue for me. Aesthetically, I prefer the stock set up, with the occasional lifting of the spoiler at speed.
All of that said, there ARE some spoilers/wings that I do like much better than others. I don't remember the brands or names of them, but I know what I like/don't like when I see it. I don't want to see you set something that is "butt ugly" (pun intended) because I think your looks BAD (as in GOOD) right now.
I tend to agree with you on unadorned rear ends. My 88, no tail, my 96,no tail,my 02 no tail. I just can't stop. I see cars with wings and i love them, I see cars with no wings and I love them. I like this wing because it keeps the deck lid unmarred. Hey, for $3k it oughta install itself.
I'm going to look int the SpeedArt wing a little further. At $3,000. I'm sure it's not one of the more popular tails. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks to all that responded. I love the journey.
it's a strosek wing, check strosek.de. the strosek distributor of the US has the bi level wing for auction on ebay right now. so far 1000 bucks. (no affiliation).
