Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I will also be replacing my springs with H&R's which will drop the car to about 1.25" front and rear.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Everyone...I just recently purchased an 02 narrow body carrera and would like to get 18 or 19 inch wheels. My questions are: 1. With 19 x 11's in the rear, how big a tire size can I go without rubbing or having to "roll my fenders"? I love the look of the Work RXX or the new Kinesis F110(wheel enhacenment). I will also be replacing my springs with H&R's which will drop the car to about 1.25" front and rear. 2. Would it be wiser to go with 18's? Can I do an 18 x 11 in the rear without rubbing? The widest tires? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me. Miko p.s. Could anyone post pics if they have this set up with a NB 996?

POST 2Original post

Congradulations on your new purchase! The largest size without doing any modifications and installing H&R springs is 19x8.5 & 19x11 w/ 235/35/19 & 295/30/19. This is the same width you'll find on a stock GT3. Let me know If you are intrested in ordering those wheels?

POST 3Original post

What's the largest size you can go with stock 5 spoke 18" lightweights on an '02 coupe with H&R?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Danny...I am interested in anything at this point...lol. I do appreciate the info. Do you have those wheels for sale or know where I can get them? Pics? Miko

POST 5Original post

Sorry man I have to differ..... 10.5 in the rear..... I had a set of 11 on mine while they were in the shop and they stuck out just too much.... Keep it safe with 10.5" not 11"..... -Eli

POST 6Original post

What do you mean? LARGEST SIZE? If you are speaking of diameter then leave the 18" out of the equ.... Is this this what you are speaking of? -Eli
