Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Check brake fluid level' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check brake fluid level' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The plugs, belt, filters, & oil change are done. I've asked the dealer for a quote for several inspections / checks of the 30k mile service. I specifically said not to check the suspension, rotors/pads, tires, lighting, seat belts, and windshield wipers.
They said 1.5 hours for doing the following list I provided them:
Diagnosis system: Read out fault memory
Vehicle underside and engine compartment: Visual inspection for leaks (oils and fluids) and abrasion (lines and hoses)
Underbody panels: visual inspection for completeness, installation and damage
Coolant hoses: Check condition;
Radiators and air inlets at front: Visual inspection for external contamination and blockage;
Coolant: Check the level and antifreeze protection
Fuel system: Visual inspection for damage, routing and secure fit of line connections
Power steering: Check the fluid level and bellows
Parking brake: Checking the free play of the parking brake lever
Brake hoses and lines: Visual inspection for damage, routing and corrosion. Checking the brake fluid level
Clutch: Check the play and pedal end position
Throttle actuation: Check smooth operation, check the full throttle position with the Tester
Steering gear: Visually inspect the bellows for damage
Tie rod joints: Check the play and dust bellows
Axle joints: Check play, visual inspection of dust bellows for damage, check screw connections of running gear adjustment facility, front and rear, for secure fit
Drive shafts: Perform a visual inspection of the boots for leaks and damage
Check the door locks, lid locks and safety hooks of the front lid to ensure that they are secure and functioning properly:
Check lid lock, front and rear; Check safety hook, front lid; Function test, check door lock; Check door and lid tightening torques
Electrical equipment as well as warning and indicator lights: Check operation.
Test drive:
Remote control, front seats, foot and parking brakes (also actuation travel), engine, clutch, steering, transmission, ParkAssist, automatic speed control, TC/PSM switch, heating, air-conditioning system and instruments: Check operation.
Oils, fluids: Visual inspection for leaks
Sounds pretty reasonable to me. They may even find something wrong that's covered by CPO during the inspection.
What do you all think?
For an hour and a half labour you get a vehicle check which your CPO will cover any fault/problem. I think it's an easy way to catch unknown problems early and rectified for free(-ish).
Clean as a whistle except for a license plate light. I spent a few minutes under the car with the under panels pulled as the tech was talking me through some things. Boy would it be nice to have a lift!
$174 for the 30k maintenance inspection. I did the other 30k stuff myself, but wanted the documentation from the dealer the 30k inspection was complete, plus it's nice to have a 25 yr veteran Porsche tech look over everything for that price.
Also no type 2 range ignitions. 987 operating hours.
I agree with you and getting some type of documentation. I try to keep as much records as I can on ALL my cars. Good piece of mind, good practice and pride of ownership
