Try taking the top off and using "Pledge" on all the rubber parts - on the car and the top.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm getting a leak where the hardtop meets the front window frame and side window, it just drips down right where they all meet.
I put a hardtop on my 02 cab a few weeks ago and it's been great for the most part. In the rain and most recently snow it has not leaked at all. Last weekend I washed it and notice a bit of water inside on the driver seat, I thought I just had the door cracked or something. But I ran it through a car wash tonight and had a fair bit of water dripping through that point on the driver and passenger side.
The top is on good, there is no wind noise and it hasn't leaked while driving in hard rain.
Any thoughts on what it could be?
Thanks,
Tim
Maybe put some conditioner on and rubber seals in that area. Not sure if it would cure it but I know rubber does get a hard surface some times if not revitalized with some sort of cleaning and silicone.
Try taking the top off and using "Pledge" on all the rubber parts - on the car and the top.
Put it back on and pour water on with a hose - you will know real quick if it worked.
I also put my hard top on last week - funny how it feels like a much different car with it on - fun!
Ask the service manager at the porsche dealership. He should know all about the deal. I know mine would give me the straight answers and be happy either way with me doing the work or their guys.
if it only leaks in the car wash, hand wash it like you ought to!
Mine does the same both hard and soft top, but has to be an almost emergency to have me running it through the carwash..
the '82 928 leaks from the top of the hatch too in the car wash, so I think Porsche are just designed to be washed by hand!
