Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Looked like good rates online, called up, had the check fedexed and when I opened the package the rate was 4% higher than quoted online.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a buyer for my 99 996 but he needs to finance it. Any clue who will loan money on it? He has found no one and I am coming up with the same... Thanks, Mike
Have you checked Capital One, they should do it, I used them when I got mine through a dealer last year. Private party is higher rate of course.

GL on your sale!
I always use PenFed. They have a 4.25% APR going on right now.

I see no problem in financing the 996 if the buyer has reasonable credit.
Does anyone know of a unsecured auto loan provider? I found one a while back on the net but can’t remember the name. It was for A (750 plus) credit applicants only.
I bought a '99 in November. I went through my local credit union, all they wanted was a buyers order and the amount to put on the check. Took 15 minutes.
Huh...never had anyone charge me a higher rate for buying from a private party around here. Hell, I'm not sure I've ever told my credit union where I'm even buying my cars from.
+1...don't know why the make, model, or year of the car would have any bearing on the actual availability of the loan.
credit unions normally are the best and base there rates off score and dont ding you for the year of the car like most banks will- capital one will generally give good terms on a low mile car but a credit union is best for older units
My credit union will go all the way back to 1909!!!!! And, I believe you could finance up to 7 years on that 1909. Model "T" anyone?
I guess they figured no one would finance a wagon.
Dont believe it:

I thought about the CapitalOne blank check program earlier this year. Looked like good rates online, called up, had the check fedexed and when I opened the package the rate was 4% higher than quoted online. Called up and they said it was because the car was an '01. So, probably not the best route for a '99.
I too went local credit union. Great rate and pleasure to deal with.
