Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

All you need to ensure is that you have (beside the coilovers) the front camber plates and the rear drop link mounting part + potentially all 4 droplinks if you do also change the sway bars.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Will a PSS 9 from a GT3 fit on my 99 996 C2? The part #'s are Front spring 996 343 531 95, front strut 996 343 041 95, rear spring 996 333 531 95, rear shock 996 333 055 95 Thanks

What do you mean with a PSS9 from a GT3? I can not imagine that any GT3 owner puts a PSS9 on his car. The GT3 stock suspension is brilliant! However, the partnumbers you mention are Porsche part numbers so I guess you refer to the stock GT3 suspension that is a combo of Bilstein shocks with H&R springs. Yes, a 996 GT3 stock suspension is a straight bolt on to a 996 C2 (pre- or post facelift). All you need to ensure is that you have (beside the coilovers) the front camber plates and the rear drop link mounting part + potentially all 4 droplinks if you do also change the sway bars. Guess how I know? Did the upgrade two days ago on my C2 '00 Cab.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thats good news that it is a straight bolt on. I just bought a complete used set for under $300, including springs, drop links, and camber plates. Life is good. Hopefully in a month or 2 I will install it. Thanks for the info.
