Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone use Redline Oil 75W90 NS in thier transmission? I just got off the phone with Redline Oil. They recommended their 75W90 NS oil for the G50/G96 transaxle. The transaxle used in the 996 2002 C2 is the G96. Anyone tried this? Results? Thanks Andy 75W90 NS This GL-5-type geal oil doesn't contain the friction modifiers for limited-slip hypoid differentials. This makes the transmission synchronizers come to equal speeds more quickly, allowing faster shifting and much easier low-temperature shifting. Can also be used in racing limited-slip differentials where weak spring design causes too much wheel spin.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seriously, no one has any experience with this oil here?

POST 3Original post

I tried it, no good during winter time. So now I am using http://www.lufteknic.com/Merchant2/m...ode=lubricants
