Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Reset code took it' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean mass air flow sensor' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Will this reset by it's self after a few run cycles or do I need to get it reset.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Quick question to some smart people.
While pulling into a drive way, I bottomed out and there was a large bang. A second later the check engine light popped on. Looking under, I see no damage, no leaks, no drips. Oil pressure is fine and temperature is good. I'm thinking the hit sounded to the computer that the engine miss fired or knocked and tripped the CEL. Will this reset by it's self after a few run cycles or do I need to get it reset.
Thanks
Rick

You need to get a code reader and read the code.Someone here will look it up for you. Auto zone will lend you one dfor free. The code will tell you the problem and then you can reset it. Also you are supossed to post pictures before you start asking questions. Have you done that?
It was steady on, no flashing. I threw the ODBII tester on and the code was P1128. Which makes no sense hit a bump and O2 sensor 1-3? I reset the code took it for a drive 10 minute. Everything seems fine, no oil/water leaks. Engine runs smooth. CEL didn't come back on.
And since I haven't posted a picture yet.
Thanks
Rick

You could have jiggled the conection of the O2 sensor where it goes into the CAT. If it doesn't come on again you should be OK. Nice car!! What are the white things in the road?
i recently purchased a very similar unit to the one below....but i only paid 50 bucks total with delivery. they are easy to find, and if you buy direct from a china vendor, it's should be cheaper than the one below. i think i paid 30 plus 20 for shippping. had it in a week, and it's fairly decent.
