Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yesterday, I was driving my topless 996 Cab on the interstate with the traffic flow. While minding my own business a vehicle behind me started accelerating and getting too close to me. So to avoid it, I downshifted and accelerated away from that vehicle and moved to another lane (right lane). I then slowed back down. Within a few more seconds (this all happened in less than 45 seconds!) I see a police car with flashing lights behind me. Obviously, the police car must have been following not too far behind me, but I had not seen it. I stopped by the side of the road and pulled my driver license. I was sure that I was toast. The police officer approaches my car and asks me if I know how fast I was driving. I explained what happened and acknowleged that I had accelerated fast and away away from the vehicle behind me but that I had been traveling within the speed limit before and after. Much to my surprise, the officer gave me a break! He then said "take it easy, you should not wreck such a nice car". Thanks officer!!!

POST 2Original post

What saved you was your honesty. Cops really hate it when you BS them. If you had, you would have gotten a ticket. Guaranteed.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

fasteddie99, I think you are right. He obviously saw me run away in no time. And I was honest with him. I shook his hands and gave me a great THANK YOU! Boy, I know that I do not need another ticket. In fact, more than once, it has passed my mind to get rid of the car. It is just too tempting and THEY are watching your moves!
