I just bought a set...the guy put brand new Michelin Pilot Sport II's on them for me....$2000 delivered to my house for the whole enchilada including chrome valve stems and the chrome (plastic) Porsche center caps.

Those are the five spokes off the 40th anniversary, which are painted in GT silver. I've yet to see one for sale, so I cannot gauge the price... But "regular" five spokes go for about 1000-1500 I would assume

I actually found them for sale on eBay but they had fairly new/used Pirelli's on them. I had him take off the Pirellis and put on the Michelins. I don't know if this is the actual model name for them, but he called them "18 Chrome Carrera Lightweight wheels". I don't know if this is permissable, but the guy's name is Carlos and he runs a wheel shop in somewhere down in the L.A. area...His phone number is [phone removed]. I think he gave me a heck of a deal...and I found him extremely helpful and professional. Glad you like them...at least there's one other guy out there who thinks they're nice looking too!!
EVO...sorry...didn't know the difference. I checked before I bought them.... and they are OEM...so they must have been redone from the original finish. The look exactly like the photo pimpson put up, but now that I look at it closer, the wheels in the photo have a softer finish. Chuck
40th An models wheels are polished and clear coated. You get a set of stock wheels chrome plated, including refinishing the center caps, for around $700-800(on top of purchasing a set of wheels).

I think I was wrong anyways. Although the 40th anny wheels LOOK like they were dipped in somoe sort of gt silver-type paint, they are just polished and clearcoated.

nice wheels... that's the "polished aluminum" wheel from the 40th.... are they OEM Porsche... ? $2000 with rubber is one *heck* of a deal!!! does he have any more?
Pete: I don't know...I was focused on those and lost my peripheral vision during the quest! You can call himm at that number I posted before and ask. He's a very amiable and helpful fellow...plus I think I got a killer deal. I'll try to take some pics and post them for you to see. He's going to re-do the turbo wheels that came with the car...they had some curb rash on the rear wheels. That'll give me an extra set for emergencies. Chuck
