Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is there a market for used OE exhausts? Should I try to sell it or would I be better-off reinstalling the factory exhaust system it when I sell the car and try to sell a used PSE kit?

POST 2Original post

There is no market for a used 996 exhaust. Keep it if you ever want to change back when/if you sell the car. You will not have a problem selling a used PSE, except for all the people who will crawl out of the woodwork and try and get it for nothing.

POST 3Original post

Ditto! That's the only way to get your money for mods.

POST 4Original post

I threw mine in the recycling. The buyer of my car got a sweet exhaust virtually for free, but it was easier to sell the car. Not worth the hassle to me to make a few bucks & switch back. One man's opinion...

POST 5Original post

I'd keep the stocker bc some buyer wants stock. Rather than tossing it, you can donate it to a salvage yard...
