Anyone know if the standard three-spoke airbag is the same for the manual and tiptronic steering wheels. I am probably going to purchase a three-spoke tiptronic wheel without the airbag, and need to know how hard it will be to find a used correct airbag in black. Local dealer shows only one part, but is not sure if the tip and 6-speed bags are the same. Thanks!

I am 83% sure that there are only two airbag options, colour aside: The standard one, and the one for full leather interiors.

I think that what you mean is the leather finishing, but is the same airbag. 4 spoke steering wheel has a different airbag.

Was referring only to the three spoke wheel since that's what the poster has purchased, hence just two airbag options. The cover of the airbag is part of the unit, hence the leather and non leather bags have two different part numbers. I'm well aware that the four spoke wheel uses a different bag... in fact, I've got one for sale.
