Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello: Looking to buy a working 996.645.333.07 or 996.645.333.05 amplifier. This is the MOST bose amplifier out of the hi-end radio option, I think MY03 and greater If anyone has one laying around would be interested. There are some on ebay ranging from $40 to $200, but would rather buy from a rennlister. Feel free to PM Thanks, Ross

POST 2Original post

I've got one (still in the car, disconnected) after modifying to a Pioneer AV710. I'm not a wrencher and don't have tools (not really into that) . Was high end Bose system. Also have CDR23 and all trimmings. Car is '05 C4S.

POST 3Original post

Looks like I could use the same amp. I saw the local electronics repairman take it out. Not that hard. Disconnect the fibrroptic cable, loosen the two hexagonal nuts using an extension on a ratchet wrench and the entire housing and the amp can be removed. Perhaps the guy who installed the new amp could take it out for you. Would really like to purchase it. What would you ask for it?
