Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

those guys r really expensive. The Racer's Group Is Cheaper

POST 3Original post

racers group has competed in and won more races too, including a little known race called... le mans...

POST 4Original post

Sweet!! Anywhere were I can see better/bigger photos of these beauties naked? Can seem to see well from the small photos posted in that site.

POST 5Original post

Two years ago at the Sebring club race there was a raw, unpainted CF body sitting on a stand in front of one of the race groups. I think it was for sale but I don't remember for sure. Pretty cool stuff. If you don't mind seeing it already painted, come to any club race. There's always a few GT3R/RSs around to ogle.

POST 6Original post

a quick question just occured 2 me...if u paint cf...can u sand it down bare again or will that tear up the fibres?

POST 7Original post

There is a clear coat on the CF pieces I have had on my cars...wouldn't want to sand them to heavily, but I imagine you could wet sand them to the coating for a repaint...I certainly wouldn't want to try...

POST 8Original post

the carbon cheapy stuff you haved isnt the same as proper pre preg racing carbon fibre

POST 9Original post

So what is the difference in the manufacturing process. I would think the cosmetic stuff Porsche sells in obviously different in its compostion as its for looks not safety. I wish it was cheap..haha

POST 10Original post

there are obviously different qualities and strength of carbon Fibre and the cosmetic stuff obviously doesnt need to be strong: pre preg is a superior way to manufacture it. check these links for lotsa details. http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/1320/ http://www.roughstuff.ie/portal/info...ial/carbon.htm
